Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since 11 November 1996. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was a model when she was approached by a hopeful photographer. She has since developed into commercial modeling. Doody was extremely determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. This rule extended into the acting profession. After receiving notice from the directors who were casting the James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody's name was included in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising new actors from 1986. 38. Doody is only 18 when she played the part of Doody in the movie A prayer for the dying (1987), starring Mickey Rourke, is the tiniest Bond Girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying which starred Mickey Rourke also had a performance by Doody, playing IRA Siobhan. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias In his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead part in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also played with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most notable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. She replaced Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's part. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's wife and agent opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II was released in 1994. Doody's first appearance on the big screen came in 2003. Michael Caine played Doody in a short role. in 2004, Doody appeared in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance on Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. In the following year, she was a guest in RTE's medical thriller The Clinic. She was also set to play the lead role in the remake of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, this project fell through. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. On 21 November 2018 she received the Almeria tierra de cine award as well as the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
